Naturalistic Oasis part of the Gesso and Stura River Park (province of Cuneo, Piedmont). The Oasis is located on the right bank of the Stura di Demonte river.
The "La Madonnina" oasis is born to realize a dream that some have brought in the heart for many years. The environmental restoration project, financed with the money resulting from the quarry cultivation approved by the Sant'Albano community, has allowed to create a site that, with a little help made of daily commitment and "BIRDFLIGHT VIEWS", in recent years is giving great surprises and enormous satisfactions.
There are over 200 species of birds that have "become aware" of it, of the work done and several thousand people who directly or with internet contacts to the site, frequent the habitats and wetlands recreated along the river.
Opening: The Oasis is open to the public free of charge all year round, Saturday and Sunday, from 8.00 am to Sunset. During the holidays the timetable is the same indicated in the periods listed. Who is in possession of the annual pass with key has free access all the year without limitations of time and period.
Guided tours outside normal opening hours can be arranged by calling or sending an email to the association's references. The guided tours expect a donation to the association (free offer).
