Royal holiday home before Italy became a Republic, already awarded as one of the "Italy's Most Beautiful Park", Unesco heritage, this precious place is open for initiatives and events: worth mentioning the extraordinary opening of the castle and the park on Monday, August 15th for the traditional picnic.

A carefree atmosphere typical of the Royal Holidays, one can spend a wonderful day out with the kids, with family, with friends in a romantic atmosphere.

In the calmness of the park, visitors can take relaxing carriage rides, bike rides, enjoy picnics in the shade of ancient trees, a relaxing break in the café at the Russian Dacia, a stroll with a dog (welcome on a lead) while observing the majestic storks and other protected species that inhabit the park.

When visiting the castle, one will live the excitement of a much-loved holiday home that combines courtly with more intimate and private environments, in which everything seems suspended to await the return of the royal family.

Place of great charm, Racconigi castle and its grounds are the ideal destination for those who want to immerse in nature and history. The area offers beautiful countryside dominated by Monviso mountain, riding activities, cycling, hiking, the new European Essence Academy Muses in Savigliano and, of course, the Storks and Anatidi Lipu Centre located at the former royal farmsteads, once belonging to the Castle .

From Friday, August 26th  to Sunday, September 4th, on the occasion of the 67th edition of Peperò, the Pepper Festival in Carmagnola, the castle houses evocative installations inspired by this delicious summer ingredient.

On Saturday August 27th, the elegance contest dedicated to Vespa - turning 70 in 2016 – will celebrate the anniversary of one of the most celebrated Italian icons, Vespa 98 (number that recalls 98cc of the first Vespa) with riders dressed according their vehicle.

And starting September 4th, visitors can also take advantage of the full program of events and shows during the traditional Racconigi September, which will enliven the old town.

OPENING: from Tuesday to Sunday (Castle from 9am to 7pm, the park from 10am to 7pm. Last admission at 6pm. Dacia Café is open at weekends and also during August.
