Province of Cuneo: a tasty land between the Alps and the Ligurian Sea

A limited number of places exclusive packages including both itineraries and food tasting in the Province of Cuneo are available on August 1.

The programme of the day is as follows:

-Visit to San Damiano Macra, Maira Vallery (Province of Cuneo). The Maira Valley is the place where the Alpine culture and the Occitan culture have been preserved intact.

-Agriturismo Lo Poy (St. Damiano Macra). The agriturismo is located in a small small village entirely made up by stone, which is now being restored after years of neglect.

 Upon arrival tourists will be greeted by the managers of the agriturismo who will hold a cooking class about local cheese and goat’s milk. The food made will then be eaten at lunch time. In the afternoon, a visit to the goat breeding area   and the production area is scheduled. There will also be a chance to buy a selection of products naturally made in the agriturismo.

The price of the ticket is 50 euro for adults, 12 euro for children between 3 and 12 years old.
