Cuneo: National Chestnut Exhibition 18-19-20 October 2019

The National Chestnut Exhibition (Fiera Nazionale del Marrone) this year celebrates its 21th edition. It is considered one of the most important food and drink event in Italy and a unique opportunity to promote the specialities and ancient traditions of the Cuneo’s area.

The Exhibition, following the renovation works to bring the ancient main street to its original splendour, take place in Via Roma, where you can admire the incredible renovated medieval buildings and the enchanting beauty of the street. Hundreds of exhibitors, carefully selected by a pool of experts from the Cuneo City Council, Slow Food, Coldiretti, Confartigianato and ATL (the local Tourist Office), crowd into Cuneo’s historical city centre for three days, invading the main historical squares with aromas, flavours and colours, allowing visitors to sample some of the best products from Italy and Europe.

As well as the food and wine events, the Exhibition also wants to highlight the quality of the handicrafts local products with teaching laboratories, cultural initiatives, touristic offers, exhibitions, shows and concerts.

All of this will make the Exhibition a unique event. An unmissable appointment for food experts and for anyone who would like to spend a weekend surrounded by the Cuneo’s genuineness.
