A journey that seems incredible, but that was a bit of a dream realized by Günter Neuhalfen and Josef Laqua, Germans with the great desire to achieve an enterprise to arrive to swim in the sea of Ventimiglia. This was indeed the last stage of the journey that ended in the border town.

The interview:

They crossed several countries and the Alps to reach the Mediterranean coast and met a lot of people. They have faced many adventures and gathered many stories, impressions and experiences that they have the pleasure of sharing and telling to the people they meet.

Their big crossing can be retraced on their Facebook page, spiritually called 'four donkeys and twelve legs'.

The most difficult time from April to September?:

"When Pepe and Paola had to cross some small river - Josef explains - they drink a lot of water, but they do not like to walk in it, so many carrots and apples have served; to make the first crossing it took us three hours. But every place visited was wonderful and being able to see the sea from here, from Perinaldo, is really beautiful. "
