Franciacorta wine Festival in the land of Barolo!

The third stop of Franciacorta Festival – a set of appointments dedicated to the discovery of Franciacorta wine and its various types - will be held in Langhe, land of renowned wine and food culture, at one of the symbols of this area: Enoteca Regionale del Barolo at Castello Falletti di Barolo.

Starting at 3.30pm on Monday October 17th, guests will be able to enjoy Franciacorta wine - a sparkling wine with DOCG status - at the tasting tables of 43 wineries and participate in guided tastings and seminars.

Wineries will offer different types of Franciacorta: from classic Brut, Extra Brut, to Satèn, Vintage and Reserves. The participating producers will lead visitors to the discovery of their Franciacorta and of Franciacorta wine in general. For wine lovers and those working in the wine sector, this

will be a great opportunity to deepen the knowledge of Franciacorta and get more acquainted to its taste.

Tasting tables of the 43 participating wineries will open in two moments to press, those in the field, and visitors.

Furthermore, during the Festival two seminars will be offered:
4.00pm: "Franciacorta: North South East West". Tasting to discover the various regional identities that determine the heterogeneity of the Franciacorta vineyards.

5.30pm: "Franciacorta meets Langhe".Tasting of three types of Franciacorta matching three Langhe’s culinary excellences.
