Over 50 events to enliven Dolceacqua’s Summer

Dolceacqua, the ancient Doria’s borough, launches a rich calendar with a series of traditional and new events, culture, promotion of local products, of monuments and history, sport and much more.

The greatest attractions are, of course, the Fireworks Show on August 20th, and, for the first time this year, "Autunnonero Ghost Tour Dolceacqua. A journey into the mysteries of the Court of Doria", a night itinerary of tales and mysteries, whose final stage will be unveiled within the firework show.

At the end of July, "Princess is Back", a cultural project promoted and offered by the Trust Floridi - Doria - Pamphilj which aims to unfold Ligurian historical events where the Doria family have established over the centuries. The event consists of a tour - using NINEBOT - of places linked to the Dorias and an exhibition at Palazzo Luigina Garoscio of ultra high resolution replicas of Pamphilj’s Roman collections and Genoese Doria’s collection and medieval altarpieces of saints related to Floridi.

A variety of musical events from the famous August Concert performed by the Town Band, British Bands, the Jazz concerts in the Doria’s Castle and other musical evenings.

Culture has a special spot throughout the Summer: several guided tours are planned to discover monuments, history and local products; shows in Doria’s Castle and Palazzo Luigina Garoscio, as well as theater performances and the second edition of "Meet Dolceacqua" with several authors including Sara Rattaro,Bruno Morchio, Roberto Negro.

Sport also animates many evenings with Tennis Tournaments, Soccer, and with much anticipated night run "spaccagambe".
