"Be Active Liguria" is a new website for visitors who want to enjoy this beautiful region biking or hiking.

The website is an ideal window for services dedicated to hikers and bikers that choose to organize an active holiday in Liguria with over 200 routes and 45 accommodations with the seal of quality Bike & Hike.

Today we propose four of the many amazing itineraries found on the website:

Coastal Greenway: Ospedaletti - San Lorenzo al Mare, 24 km - Stunning scenery and unspoilt nature characterize the cycle path of 24 km by the sea built on the former railway line of Western Liguria, between Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo al Mare, going through Sanremo.

Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, Mtb - For those who prefer to ride their mountain bike, the most suitable route is Alta Via of the Ligurian Mountains, a long stretch of over 700 km, including 400 main path divided into 43 stages. With 15 loop itineraries designed for every type of cyclist and views from Corsica to the Alps.

Alpes-Maritimes - The Maritime Alps offer 2,000 km of footpaths and 60 trails on 4 levels of difficulty, with signposted paths that allow you to move from Italy to France and vice versa without any difficulty. Thanks to the mild climate of the Italian Riviera, this stretch is open year-round and is suitable both for families with easy dirt roads and for the most trained athletes with challenging single-track.

E-Bike-Tour Molini di Triora - The track starts at Molini di Triora where, at Santo Spirito hotel restaurant, by prior arrangement, you can rent e-bikes and shuttle service. The route continues towards Triora-Passo della Guardia passing through Gorda where it becomes a dirt road. Past Garezzo tunnel turn right and follow the ridge line, go to Passo della Mezzaluna and the fields of San Lorenzo where you can find a prehistoric menhir and a sacrificial altar.

Additionally, for mountain bike and adventure lovers, every year at the end of May the 24 hour of Finale Ligure takes place; it is the most important mountain bike competition of this kind in Europe.
