A weekend for all cycling fans with the Milan-SanRemo and the amateurial Granfondo San Remo race

On Saturday, March 19th, the 107th edition of the Milan-San Remo professional race, the longest classic on the World Tour circuit. On Sunday the 20th, the Granfondo San Remo-San Remo will cover the final kilometers of the professional race for cycling enthusiasts and amateurs.

March 19th and 20th is THE weekend for all cycling fans! On Saturday, San Remo will host the 107th edition of the Milan-San Remo professional race - a classic monument to the world of cycling - while on Sunday cyclists will relive the excitement of the “Classicissima” by participating to the Granfondo San Remo which will follow the final kilometers of the Milan-San Remo route.

The Milan-San Remo race, part of the World Tour calendar, is the longest race of the season, with 293 km from Milan to the Italian Riviera, facing challenges such as Passo del Turchino, “Capi” on Aurelia route, and the finishing section, Cipressa and Poggio di Sanremo. Arrival time for the race is planned between 4.30 and 5pm.

On March 20th , cyclists can get a taste of the race by attempting the Granfondo San Remo beginning in San Remo at 9:30 a.m., heading towards Imperia and then going inland before coming back again to the coast to trace the Milan-San Remo route, climbing toward Cipressa and Poggio di Sanremo and arriving at the Finish line at Poggio summit.
