In the early evening, the faithful numerously gathered on the Albert 1st embankment to attend the arrival of the symbolic boat and the reception of the relics which are followed by the procession that leads as far as Saint Devote church.

Burning of the boat

The evening ends up with a firework display which is set off over the sea in the harbour of Monaco situated opposite the mouth of the Gaumates small valley where the long story between Devote and the Monegasque started.
