Carlo Conti, the announced presenter for the Sanremo Music Festival 2015, has said that he is already working on the preparation of the big event, which will be held in Sanremo (Italy) next February.
He has confirmed that there are going to be significant changes in relation to the rules of the contest, such as the reintroduction of the knockout competition for both emerging and already affirmed artists.
Conti wants to put forward 16 big and 8 young artists, who will probably be chosen also from the Italian talent shows.
Besides, he mentioned Prince and the Daft Punk in his list of desires for this year’s international guest artists.
Several music genres will find some place during the new edition of the festival, especially those different from the traditional Sanremo’s love song.
Conti will certainly share the stage with one or more female figures, and with a different comedian for each night of the festival.
The Sanremo Music Festival is held every year in the city of Sanremo, Italy, and it consists of a competition among previously unreleased songs. The first edition took place between the 29th and the 31st of January 1951.
