Bordighera: here is the calendar of Christmas events, program held till January 6th [Video]

The Municipality of Bordighera presents the calendar of events that will animate the City of Palms during the Christmas holidays: a rich and varied program, which will continue until January 6, with an appendix that will end on January 27th.   

"Christmas, in Bordighera, will be truly magical - declares Mayor Vittorio Ingenito - The agenda is very rich and will give everyone special moments. The whole City will be involved: the streets and squares, the historic center, the Park Palace and the former Anglican Church, the port and the hamlets of Sasso and Borghetto San Nicolò will become the scene of events organized or sponsored by the Municipality. Important news, among the many proposals, the New Year in Piazza Garibaldi with RDS 100% Great Successes ... a great event, which we have chosen to offer thinking of the youngest and which we will present in detail soon ".

The concert of January 1st will be back with Symphony Orchestra of Bordighera, there will be an evening dedicated to Gospel and the festival "Cori ... sotto le stelle" (Choir under the stars) while on the afternoon of December 24th the streets will be animated by the now classic touring concert of the Banda Musicale Borghetto San Nicolò Città di Bordighera. "Waltz and polkas of the Strauss family " will resound at the Palazzo del Parco on the 28th, with the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra.

The tradition will be revived in the Foegu du bambin, in the High City, the Christmas fire in the churchyard of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Sasso, in the cribs set up in various places in the city. For the little ones the appointment is with the Buca delle Lettere (Santa's mailbox) and the "surprise" animations of the Gardens of the Palazzo del Parco and then, on December 24th, with the Santa Claus Sub who will arrive at the port. But there will also be a special convoy, the Santa Claus Express, which on the morning of December 22nd will stop in front of the Covered Market with its surprises, and lots of balloons on January 1st, from 12pm, on the Lungomare Argentina.
