Alba: 88th edition of the International White Truffle Fair

A meeting between cuture, territory, sensorial experiences and gastronomy.

This year Alba's Alba White Truffle Fair  will be dedicated to the moon, an integral part - explain the organizers - of the search for the Tuber magnatum Pico.

The White Alba World Truffle Market will be open every Saturday and Sunday from October 6th to November 25th with the extraordinary openings on November 1st and 2nd.

In the program the Alba Truffle Show, a space dedicated to the show cooking, sensory analysis of the truffle, wine tasting experience.

Also expected are the "Foodies Moments" in which the White Truffle of Alba meets the signature cuisine with the performances of chefs and star chefs from the area of ​​Langhe, Roero and Monferrato and some of the best known Italian restaurants.

During the event the candidacy of the "Search for and trimming of truffles in Italy: traditional knowledge and practices" at the Intangible World Heritage of Humanity will be remembered.

The Alba White Truffle collection calendar in Piedmont is due to open on 21 September and will close on 31 January.
