Bordighera's International Award sponsored by Milan Expo 2015

The International Award "Regina Margherita" in Bordighera has been sponsored by the Italian Pavilion of Milan Expo 2015.

"We got the sponsorship thanks to the fact that the Award is a socio-cultural initiative which has as main themes the same of Expo 2015, that is food, nutrition and culture," organisers of the Cultural Academy in Bordighera commented. "And, in particular, the synergy between food, literature and art."

The Award entries for the forth edition will be open shortly, and will focus on painting, prose and short film.

There will be four sections around the theme of food, with the purpose of both enhancing the Mediterranean diet and addressing specific food issues such as obesity, bulimia and anorexia.

The entry fee is 10 euro for each section.

Items must be submitted to the Academy of the Muses of Bordighera, via Pasteur 70-C by June 15.

The awards ceremony will take place by the end of September.
