Recipe of the week: Saffron sweets

These biscuits are a real treat in combination with coffee for a sweet break.

  • 300 g. wheat flour "0" 
  • 150 g. sugar
  • 100 ml extra virgin olive oil 
  • 3 egg whites 
  • 1 sachet of yeast 
  • 0.1 g. of Cuneo Saffron  


  1. Crumble the saffron coarsely and soak it in a little water. 
  2. Sift the flour and the sachet of yeast, add the sugar, the oil and the egg whites. 
  3. Combine the saffron infusion. Knead everything until a soft and uniform dough is obtained. 
  4. Make up the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. 
  5. Bake in preheated oven at 160 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
