If you have been wondering (and worrying) about all those delicious and juicy lemons and oranges as well as the beautiful flowers used for one of the most spectacular Festivals in the Alps of the Sea – Menton’s Fete du Citron - you needn’t worry any longer!
They do not go to waste.
In fact, according to tradition, on March 2nd and, yesterday, March 3rd all flowers and fruit of the Carnival went on sale.
Prices were €1.5 for 3 pounds of fruit (oranges and lemons) and €4 for flowers.
