Many lighting surprises at Illuminata in Cuneo

Taking place this year from July 14th to 24th  every night beginning at 9pm, Illuminata will offer many exciting surprises happening in three areas of the city of Cuneo:

In Piazza Europa the area "Move" will be dedicated to dance and anything related to movement.

The "Live" area, in the new Foro Boario square will host live music.

In the "Choral" area in Via Roma, in front of Sant'Ambrogio's Church, a sound structure acting as a sounding board will be installed for all bands performing.

In addition to music and movement, visitors will be able to enjoy the many cultural opportunities Cuneo has to offer. Absolutely not to miss the museum itineraries: beside guided tours of the renovated historical center, the city's museums will be open every day. Visitors will also be able to admire the imposing Civic Tower and, upon reservation, to watch the spectacular light show climbing up the tower.

Naturally, the chance to enjoy and discover gourmet local food will be a priority: given last year's success, "Cena di Contrada", a neighborhood dinner, and "Milleluci nel piatto", a thousand lights in your plate, are both back. And the new "Street Food Illuminata" will be located in Piazza Foro Boario with plenty of delicious surprises.

It goes without saying that the highlight of the festival is the great illumination of the city which will be held every night twice at 10.30pm and at 11.15pm. Following the lit light bulbs, one can discover the city of Cuneo, as this year Illuminata will not be limited to the historical center, but will expand to Via Europa as well, passing through Corso Nizza and Foro Boario square.
