Chiusa Pesio has become Befana's village

Just take a walk through the narrow alleys of Chiusa Pesio and you'll know ... this is the country of the Epiphany! Coloured socks, flying brooms and bags of coal decorate the streets and squares of Chiusa, hanging from the windows and balconies.

Under the Pellerino, the heart of the village, the garlands of socks turn with the wind and the trees are decorated with ornaments made ​​by Chiusani children strictly with recycled material. On the front of the Civic Tower, headquarters of the Tourist Office and Museum Complex "Cav. G . Avena ", stands a huge colored sock, even more impressive at night when it is illuminated with lights. Also on the facade of the Public Library you can admire a beautiful stocking.

The original idea of the Families Association was enthusiastically accepted by the Municipality of Chiusa Pesio. The Feast of the Epiphany will be held Sunday, 4th January, in case of bad weather postponed until Tuesday, 6th January . The afternoon will be organized by the Itinerant Theatre Company, young and old are invited to discover the new adventure of the Epiphany entitled "The Challenge of the Befanas": a duel between the old and the young aspirant Befana. The show will be repeated twice.
