The Liguria Region of Italy has secured its own exhibition space from May 22 to June 18.

The Italian Riviera will have a unique opportunity to show its beauty to the world at the Expo Milan 2015.

Regional Minister for Tourism Angelo Berlangieri has confirmed that the Italian region of Liguria (of which the Italian Riviera is part) will have a dedicated exhibition space between May 22 and June 18.

The space, designed by the Department of Architectural Sciences at the University of Genoa, will feature all the best local products, territories, institutions and business of the region.

Each of the provincial capitals in Liguria (Genova, La Spezia, Savona and Imperia) will be granted its own time slot. 

The Liguria Region will also be part of the permanent exhibition in the Padiglione Italia throughout the 6 months of Expo. More information and the calendar of events will be available at  www.turismoinliguria.it

“There will be a significant number of events in connection with Liguria during the 6 months of the Expo,” Regional Minister Berlangieri has explained, “starting from the ‘exhibition set up by Marco Balich, which aims to show the know-how, the limits, the beauty and future of the ‘Italian Identity’.

Around 40 Ligurian agri-food businesses will partake in the “Tuttofood 2015” international fair in Milan between May 3 and May 6.
