Also for this Christmas 2019 in Turin, the suggestive crib will animate the narrow streets of the Medieval Village of Valentino for the whole period of the festivities to be admired by young and old. Emanuele Luzzati, the famous Genoese illustrator and scenographer, who died in 2007, set up this crib at the request of the municipality of Turin for the first time in 1997 in Piazza Carlo Felice.

Entering and going through the streets of the Medieval Village, you will be accompanied by illuminated shapes arranged between arcades and courtyards towards the Piazza del Melograno where the general layout of the work is located.

The peculiarity of the crib of Luzzati, consisting of 90 painted wooden silhouettes, is that of having put together the classic protagonists of the Christian Christmas tradition with the magical characters of fairy tales for children to recreate an enchanted atmosphere.

The Presepe di Luzzati is certainly one of the Christmas traditions of Turin not to be missed for the beautiful scenic impact given not only by the masterfully executed silhouettes and the lights that accompany them, but also for the beautiful location of the Medieval Village where it is housed.
