Since 1984 and the very first edition organized by Stéphane Hauvette with 7 competitors, the Roc d'Azur has continued to grow, bringing together more than 20,000 participants, 300 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors over 5 days!

Now established on the François Léotard Nature Base in Fréjus and in the Roquebrune-sur-Argens trails, it has become the first mountain bike event in the world and celebrates, as it should be, each year in October, all the actors cycling and mountain biking. Starting with the thousands of amateur cyclists from the four corners of France and 50 different countries ...

EACH HIS RHYTHM! Professionals, amateurs, beginners, adults, children, crosseurs, endurists ... whatever your age and your level, the Roc d'Azur is open to all, to long-time enthusiasts as well as last-minute curious. With a large number of races proposed, various and varied, everyone can find the race or the hike that he wants, in cross-country of course but also in triathlon, electric bike, gravel ...

The gravel or adventure road bike, halfway between a city and a mountain bike, must adapt to all types of terrains on a 298-kilometre course (with a total elevation climb of 6,000 metres) over a two-day period (12th and 13th October). This race isn't timed, therefore offering riders a chance to enjoy the stunning landscapes.

In addition to the sports program , the Roc d'Azur hosts every year the largest free bike fair open to all. It also offers many activities highlighting various disciplines of the world of cycling (dirt, trial, initiations, tests ...).
