NEED TO CELEBRATE THE 152nd BIRTHDAY(ANNIVERSARY) OF THE BIRTH Of ERIK SATIE? On the occasion of the birthday(anniversary) of Erik Satie, the collective Clown(Puppet theatre) s band proposes, in the wake of the unknown of Arcueil, the SATIE152 project, conceived(designed) to put to the test the inheritance of vanguards. Kissing(Embracing) several disciplines, he can be considered as a «exhibition(exposure) of furniture», in the same capacity as the music of furniture invented by Satie. Marcel Bataillard, Frédérik Brandi and Kristof Everart (Clown(Puppet theatre) s band) present to it photographies, digital creations, drawing in the space and sound(resounding) installation, a continuation(suite) of unpublished works inviting the visitor to venture into the intimacy of Erik Satie. During private view, on Friday, September 14th at 18 h, a series of concerts and of events in the shape of performances will take place on the terrace of the Villa Arson, establishing(constituting) the second section(shutter) of Festival Manké on 2018 (afterwards Master's degree-class and June concert to the Academy of Nice): first Gnossienne adapted for bagpipes and other mishaps, concert Satie by the pupils of the Academy, sports and musical improvisations, tributes in dogs, in soccer and in philosophers, by Clown(Puppet theatre) s band and its guests. « If he(it) feels reluctant at me to say out loud what I think silently, it is only because I have no rather strong voice(vote).» (Erik Satie)

by the duet Martineau-Grisi, piano in four hands
and young talents Axel Pojaghi, violoncello and Aleksandar Nikolaev, flute Julien Martineau and Laetitia Grisi, artists and professors to the Academy with Regional Influence(Radiation) Pierre Cochereau de Nice, will play transcriptions for piano 4 hands of big(great) orchestral pages (Symphony of Beethoven, The sorcerer's apprentice de Dukas, Waltz of Ravel). They will invite three young talents of the region (among whom Axel Pojaghi, cellist, and Aleksandar Nikolaev, flutist) to share the stage(scene) and to punctuate their interventions with instrumental paraphrases on arias or airs of famous melodies.
