The Easter holidays are announced by Cante j'euv, traditional Lent alms collections that flood with music and good spirits Vigliano, Monteu Roero, Castagnito, Alexandria and other Piedmontese cities.

Worth seeing are the Via Crucis of Antignano, the Mortorio Pasquale of Villafalletto and the Passion of Christ of Castagnole Monferrato. On Easter and Easter Monday you will find many festive events such as Cocciar le uova in Rivoli.

Cante j'euv in Castagnito (CN): Cante j'euv is an old custom of Castagnito's peasants. Earlier, during Holy Week, peasant groups went to the farms to ask for eggs. Even today, some inhabitants find themselves on the threshold of the companies and intone old verses, after which they gather in the square to sing Cante and eat.

Cante j'euv in Roero at Ceresole-Guarene (CN): Cante j'euv Roero is the vocal event that takes place every year in another municipality of Langhe. The joyous caravan will bring traditional singing and you will experience a night of yesterday's emotions and flavors.

Via Crucis in Antignano (AT): Antignano, a town on the outskirts of Asti, Via Crucis is re-staged on Good Friday. The most beautiful views of the historical center are the natural environment that transforms into the two thousand year old Jerusalem of the Passion of Jesus Christ.

The Passion of Christ in Castagnole Monferrato (AT): The Passion of Jesus Christ on Maundy Thursday proposes a torchlight procession, theater and music performances, exhibition of a tree / Christ with the participation of the entire castagnolese community. The Passion of Castagnole Monferrato creates a landscape with evocative sound.

Via Crucis Villar Focchiardo (TO): In Villar Focchiardo on Good Friday there is the obituary of the Passion of Christ. This tradition dates back to 1700 and you can relive the last moments of Jesus' life, through the efforts of dozens of extras in historical costumes.

Via Crucis in Bussoleno (TO): The Via Crucis is not only a procession in Bussoleno, but it is a historical commemoration in costumes that tells the whole way from Jesus to the Crucifixion.

The Easter Mortorio of Holy Week in Villafalletto (CN): Holy Week is celebrated with the traditional Mortorio Pasquale in Villafalletto. Every year, on Good Friday, the Brotherhood of Mercy repeats the Easter procession, which commemorates the death of Christ. Every four years, the procession is solemnly called Mortorio Pasquale.

Easter Sunday and Monday in Bra (CN): Bra repeats the sausage exhibition, the craft and animal fair, organizes events to spend Easter Sunday and Monday in the city of "slow food".

Cocciar le uova in Rivoli (TO): on Easter morning, meet at the square in Rivoli for the Cocciar le uova. This tradition has been introduced in the municipality of Piedmont by the community of Polesine, which moved there after the flood of 1952. Every year people gather to play with the eggs.
