SPORTEL takes advantage of the Prince of Monaco’s love of sports to return to the Principality this Autumn and gather celebrities and state-of-the-art sport media

Under the patronage of His Highness the Prince Albert II of Monaco and of the International Olympic Committee, SPORTEL has established itself as the essential convention for the leaders of sport business and media for by now 28 years. TV channels, distributors and holders of sport rights, sport international federations, sport marketing agencies, sport marketing agencies, event organisers, producers, new means of communication and many others gather here twice a year to discuss future trends, developments and the challenges of this sector.

It is exactly SPORTEL’s prestige that has allowed this convention to already sell 86% of the available stands two months before the event SPORTELMonaco 2017 which will take place from 23rd to 26th October.

“It is a great satisfaction to see that an event like SPORTEL after almost 30 years of life goes ahead with its development year by year. This is the proof that the sport business establishment trusts us and relies on us to develop this sector. SPORTELMonaco 2016 had a historic success with over 3,000 participants, 1,034 societies and 80 represented countries” has stressed Laurent Puons, SPORTEL/Monaco Mediax CEO.

SPORTEL reacts to this issue through the choice of these conferences which are always relevant to the evolution of markets but also by increasing the exhibition surface area to respond the demands of new participating societies” added Puons.

Among this year’s exhibitors there will be Absolut Championship Berkut, Activation Blizzard, Automobile Club de Monaco, Arqiva, FIFA, Fight Sports, Imagen, IMG, Irdeto, Max Muay Thai, NBC Universal, Red Bull Media House, TMG and many others.

This year the Soirée des SPORTEL Awards will be held on Tuesday 24th October 2017 at 8 pm with numerous olympic champions and sport celebrities that will hand the trophies Podiums d’Or to the makers of the most beautiful international sport videos. During this prestigious ceremony, the Prix de l'Autobiographie will be awarded to the sportsperson who has written this year’s best autobiography. The last winners of this prize were Dan Carter and Mike Tyson.
