On display are a huge variety of traditions related to Russian culture. There are dances, traditional music, films, arts and crafts, fashion and typical Russian food.

Cannes' Russian Art Festival: five days immersed in Russian culture

There is a strong and ancient friendship between Russia and France. In Cannes, the Russian Art Festival represents the perfect example of this link, and is the privileged meeting of this relation between the two countries. Since its creation in 1998, it provides a magnificent panorama of the Russian culture and of their dynamic and artistic creativity.

In fact, each year, the Palais des Festivals hosts a five day Russian exhibition.

On display are a huge variety of traditions related to Russian culture. There are dances, traditional music, films, arts and crafts, fashion and typical Russian food; an opportunity to immerse in excellence, to make you dream and travel through Russia, from classic ballet to Esmeralda and Romeo and Juliet representations.

Additionally, renowned Russian artist, Zourab Tsereteli, painter, sculptor and architect, president of the Academy of Fine Arts of Russia, will lead a Master Class on August 26th from 4 to 7pm (Focolare Teatro Debussy).

The festival is organised by the Russia Culture Foundation.
