Since 1948, Nice Jazz Festival has continued hosting the best of the national and international music scenes with more than 60,000 coming to see the official festival and the “Off” fringe. Unfortunately, in 2016 the Festival was cancelled: following the terrorist attack on the Promenade des Anglais on the evening of July 14th 2016, the Prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes and Nice City Council took the decision to cancel the Nice Jazz Festival, which was due to commence on July 16th.

You can find the detailed program here and information about the tickets here.

The Festival is eco-friendly as it provides participants with reusable cups for a deposit of €1; additionally, the City of Nice will distribute pocket ashtrays to keep the site clean. Sixty recycling points will be available to visitors around the festival site and surrounding area.
