A rich Spring-Summer calendar filled with great activities for adults and children, starting today and lasting until September in Villa Faraldi – a small village in Imperia province.
All planned events not only promote the discovery of this beautiful village, its history, tradition, and local products but they also forward sustainable and environmentally friendly choices, helping spread a different way to do tourism with a reduced impact on environment.
The activities offered are all free and are divided into three types: guided hikes – the first one was today, nature walks for children, and conferences.

Guided Hikes
June 10th: from Copetti field to Pizzo d’Evigno – hiking in a European Network Natura 2000, which is a network of sites protected under EU Legislation for their conservation value and because of the natural habitats and species
September 9th: hike along Sentiero Balcone discovering the villages of Tovo Faraldi and Cervo
Nature Walks for children
June 17th: Let’s get to know the oak forest, an afternoon collecting leaves, hearing tales and learning nursery rhymes
July 1st: What happens after a fire? Learning about Pioneer species - hardy species which are the first to colonize previously disrupted or damaged ecosystems
September 2nd: How to make olive oil – oil mill visit

June 30th: Western Liguria hiking network, past and present day
September 8th: Spontaneous reforestation and wolf comeback

Villa Faraldi is a municipality located in Cervo creek’s upper valley and was an ancient feud of Clavesana marquisate which followed the historical developments of Albenga and Cervo.
