Imperia's Video Festival: a Digital Cinema Art International Festival

The 12th edition of Imperia’s Videofestival is taking place April 18th – 22nd.

Imperia’s Video Festival – Digital Cinema Art International Festival - is an independent film competition and a unique national and international showcase for professional works as well as amateurs’.

The festival presents many genres, going from full-lenght movies to short films, documentaries, animation, video clips, as well as tourist and naturalistic documentaries. Over the years it has also added the “Quality Television” category.

This year a new record: 1.805 movies from 92 countries participated among which 81 were selected for the competition.

According to UNESCO, it is among the ten most important festival in the world for its role in preserving and promoting cultural diversity.

The Festival will take place from Tuesday April 18th to Saturday April 22th, 2017 at the Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce in Imperia.

Imperia’s Video Festival will welcome all finalists as major film festivals do. All winners will be able to walk the Red Carpet on the final evening, be photographed and interviewed by media. Additionally, the gala evening will be enlivened by the presence of guests and an exciting show.
