Special openings of extraordinary heritage sites during FAI Spring Days

FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano, usually referred as the Italian National Trust – as every year, is promoting its Spring days which will take place on March 25th and 26th, 2017.

FAI Spring days are a large-scale national festivalwhich opens the doors of hundreds of stunning FAI properties across Italy. 

Here below some details regarding FAI Spring days in Cuneo, Fossano, Racconigi, Manta to discover places rich in history and art exceptionally open to the public.

In Cuneo, in addition to the buildings in Via Roma returned to shine after the recent restoration work, visitors will be able to admire the complex of the former Jesuit College (now the Town Hall).

In Fossano, FAI volunteers will offer the opportunity to learn more about two of the most beautiful baroque churches of the city, discovering curiosities and details.

In Racconigi, visitors will rediscover the city’s  history through a special itinerary.

Do not miss the opening of Manta’s Castle, with its beautiful frescoed rooms, while in the village itself cultural routes will be available with "Manta da scoprire" – Discovering Manta

The mission of FAI is twofold: on the one hand, it is to promote a tangible culture of respect for Italy's natural heritage, art, history and traditions; and on the other, it is to protect a legacy that forms a fundamental part of the roots and identity of the Italian people. FAI is a national, not-for-profit trust that was set up in 1975 and has since gone on to save, restore and open to the public numerous fine examples of Italy's artistic and natural heritage.
