Un Borgo di Cioccolato: when chocolate takes over a village

"Un Borgo di cioccolato" – a chocolate village event - takes place every year in Borgo San Dalmazzo during the month of March.
Borgo San Dalmazzo has over a century old chocolate tradition; it can indeed boast the presence on its territory of several chocolate masters: the members of Savoy Royalty appreciated Borgo San Dalmazzo’s chocolate so much that they used to make a special stop at this village for chocolate purchase on their way to Valdieri’s hot springs.

Over the years, "Un Borgo di cioccolato" has witnessed a steadily growing success, in both the number of exhibitors and visitors.

The event offers a weekend with a confectionery products exhibition accompanied by chocolate  laboratories, chocolate sculptures, tastings, concerts and shows in Palazzo Bertello. On Sunday, the whole city will host the market and shops will be open.

The 17th edition of “Un Borgo di Cioccolato” is taking place on March 11th and 12th, 2017 in Borgo San Dalmazzo. Opening times: Saturday 2.30pm-10pm, Sunday 10am-8pm.

Borgo San Dalmazzo (Occitan: Lo Borg Sant Dalmatz) is a municipality in the Province of Cuneo located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) south of Turin and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) southwest of Cuneo.
