Liguria is now also producing spumante, the most unique in the world as the way it ages is absolutely unique. Spumante Abissi di Bisson is, in fact, the only spumante that, after being bottled, is laid on the sea bottom and left to age, on Portofino park’s seabed, or off Sestri Levante and Baia delle Favole.

That’s definitely an original wine to toast with!

If you are a Pigato lover, there is a new production called Vis Amoris: a small vineyard in Imperia, where the Ligurian grape is offered, for the first time, in six unusual versions.

And then, if you love a wine to accompany the Christmas panettone, Sciacchetrà is perfect: it has no bubbles, but is the most famous sweet wine of Liguria and among the most celebrated in the world.
