When days are getting hotter, cooking at the stove or baking feels less and less attractive.

Delicious food during the Summer doesn't need to be complicated! There are plenty of fresh produce and ingredients that are mouthwatering to the palate without much preparation.

One example is the recipe we propose for this week: a fig salad with fennel, arugula and goat cheese. It is a simple, quick to prepare but appetizing dish, a perfect combination of different fresh ingredients in season.

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 4-5 figs
  • 1 fresh fennel
  • 200 grams of goat cheese
  • arugula
  • extra virgin olive oliva
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon zest

Directions

Clean up the fennel, figs and arugula.

Cut the fennel into small pieces and cut in quarters the figs.

Dice the goat cheese or dole out with a spoon - depending on cheese consistency, and put all the ingredients in a large bowl, season with salt, lemon zest, and extravirgin olive oil.

Mix well and serve.

Buon appetito!
