A mushrooms and herbs exhibition in Ceva

"PRIMA" in Piedmontese dialect means Spring season.

It is, in fact, to this season and his special gifts that PRIMA festival is dedicated: an event taking place in Ceva where flowers, plants, medicinal and edible herbs, spices and, of course, mushrooms take the center stage.

PRIMA, from May 12th to 15th 2016, includes, among other initiatives, a themed dinner upon reservation at Restaurant Italia and a market exhibition on Sunday 15th dedicated to mushrooms, wild herbs, medicinal and aromatic plants, spices, flowers.

This annual event is combined with the patronal feast of Pentecost which is celebrated in Borgo Sottano neighborhood. It is also combined with the fair of the sandwich with Ceva's De.Co. frittata, a very unique local product.

Beside the themed scientific exhibition, part of the event is also reserved to producers and those working in the field.

Ceva, the ancient Ceba, is a small Italian town in the province of Cuneo, region of Piedmont, 49 kilometres (30 mi) east of Cuneo.
